Scott has been a member of the Athletic Training community for over 30 years. He started his career in 1995 treating patients at U.P. Sports Medicine as well as high school athletes at Negaunee High School. In 2005, he moved to Bell Hospital where he became the athletic trainer for the Ishpeming Hematites. While treating patients at Bell, Scott helped spearhead the ImPact concussion program for Ishpeming, Negaunee and Westwood high schools. In 2013 Scott, along with a group of partners opened Active Physical Therapy in Ishpeming and he has been treating the west-end community since and continues to be the Athletic Trainer at Ishpeming. He is also a volunteer firefighter for Ishpeming.Scott resides in Ishpeming with his wife Melissa and dog Maizey. In his free time, Scott enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, going to camp and enjoying the outdoors.
