Megan is a native of Menominee, Michigan. She graduated from Michigan State University in 2015, then received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Grand Valley State University in 2018. She is most passionate about treatment of neurological conditions, limb loss, and pelvic floor dysfunction. Megan is a Certified Brain Injury Specialist, has a certification in LSVT-BIG for specialized treatment of Parkinson’s Disease, and has undergone advanced training for treatment of strokes and spinal cord injuries. She is also Pelvic Health Level 1 and 2 certified through the American Physical Therapy Association. Megan’s firm belief is that movement is medicine. She was excited to return to the Upper Peninsula to join Active Physical Therapy in 2021, and now lives in Marquette with her husband and dog. In her free time she loves to run, mountain bike, ski, and hike.
